A. Our target is for you to receive your product within 7 days of placing your order, if there are unforeseen delays, we promise to contact you
A. Yes, the product will be sent by courier to anywhere on mainland UK. Please contact us if you are outside of mainland UK and we will simply pass on any extra delivery cost
A. Although not complicated to install, this product needs to be installed by a qualified electrician for H&S reasons. We can arrange this for you if you don’t have someone you usually use.
A. There are two parts to the G2G product. The first is a small box which needs to be installed adjacent to the main incoming electrical supply to the building. There are three CT monitors which strap around the three phase electrical supply. The second box should be mounted by the door that the last person out uses to lock the building. Full installation and set-up instructions are here and also sent with every product. The RF data connection between the boxes will work at a maximum distance of 500 meters and should therefore be sufficient for most applications. Our dealers are there to assist in the unlikely event that connection problems should be encountered.
A. No. You may receive a call or an email to ask for feedback and to make sure you are happy with your purchase, any other communication will be initiated by you.
A. No. Your data is available for you to use and for your local dealership to view. It will never be used for any other purpose than to help you save energy and will never be given or sold to any third party.
A. You need one unit for each building
A. Every building is different and you will understand why we cannot promise savings. However in our experience most wasted energy happens when a building is unoccupied. Many HVAC and lighting control systems are designed to fail ‘on’ and many faults will cause a system to run to protect itself, frost alarms are a great example. This is so you should never be without heat or light but it also means your systems will run 24/7 until the fault is fixed. G2G will tell you as soons a you have any problems allowing you to stop the excess before it becomes an expensive issue.
Also, people leave stuff on! If they aren’t paying the bill they forget to turn off the heater under the desk or the laminator, it’s human nature.

A. If you have installed new equipment that runs when the building is unoccupied since you initially set the baseload, then you need to set a new baseload on the system. See ‘how to set your baseload’
If you haven’t had any new equipment and can’t find anything obviously left on, I would start with your HVAC and lighting controls, it’s often possible to override systems ‘on’ and it has been known for people to forget to put systems back into ‘auto’. If you talk to your maintenance team and still cannot find the reason, contact your local dealer and they will be able to help.
A. You can set the % over baseload that you want the amber and red screens to come on. This helps you to allow for changes in temperature which can make refrigeration systems consume more in the summer for example or simply allow for the domestic fridge that wasn’t running when you set your baseload but maybe running when you press the button to leave the building.
A. You will not have any information for that date and time, however it will continue to work and you can manage the situation with your colleague, maybe offer an incentive? Although the system is monitoring your consumption at all times, it takes a snapshot when the button is pressed and records the result. In your log-in pages you can see the previous 3 days, what time the button was pressed and whether a red, amber or green light was illuminated. If the colleague doesn’t press the button, the result will be blank for that day.
A. We would always recommend a carrot rather than a stick approach. If you tell your colleagues how much the electricity bill is you might be surprised at how helpful they can be. Most of them will be paying their own bills at home and so will understand the need for efficiency. Even if they don’t want to help for some reason, you will get the notification on this site or on your App so there are no excuses!
